ALDERLEY PARK

Wright Landscapes have been employed to complete the grounds maintenance at the Alderley Park location, set within the heart of the beautiful Cheshire parkland, since May 2017. Our maintenance division have worked very closely with the sites Estates Manager to ensure our team maintain the grounds to the highest standard and to best horticultural practice.

Set within 400 acres of historic parkland, featuring a rare arboretum, lake and water garden makes for a superb natural environment enjoyed by all. Alderley Park remains home to a working farm which is managed by the parks estates team. The historic woodlands surrounding Radnor Mere were planted by Sir Thomas Stanley in 1921 and home to a rich floral habitat for hundreds of native species.

There are a number of grade ll listed buildings on the park, including Tenants Hall, the Dovecote and the Courtyard. All of which are preserved in harmony with their surroundings.

Throughout the year, the team undertake a full maintenance regime;

Grass cutting to lawns and verges,  fertilising, moss control, pruning of shrub beds and aquatic plants, hedge maintenance, watering, weed control, removal of litter and leaves, sports maintenance, water garden maintenance, water clarity, health of fish and winter gritting services.

The team is easily identifiable on site with branded Wright Landscapes uniform, supplied with appropriate PPE equipment. As part of our continued investment to machinery and fleet of vans, the site benefits from a branded vehicle and battery powered machines. This range of battery powered machinery has enabled the team to work efficiently whilst keeping noise pollution, emissions and disruption to a minimum.
