MEDIA CITY  SALFORD

MediaCityUK is a 200-acre property development site on the banks of the Manchester Ship Canal in Salford and Trafford, Greater Manchester. This bespoke community features one of the biggest HD studio complexes in Europe and is complemented by nearly 400 apartments, a hotel and a distinctive range of bars and restaurants.

To ensure quality of service, Wright Landscapes have a team based on site full time and the site is maintained to an excellent level all year round.

We provide a full range of proactive and reactive services to the site including and not limited to; grass cutting, bed maintenance, sports pitch maintenance, annual tree surveys, pruning & jet washing.  Also road and footpath surfacing repairs

In line with our company's environmental and sustainability beliefs, our operatives use battery powered tools. The electric powered tools allow the team to work with excellent efficiency whilst keeping both the noise pollution and emissions to an absolute minimum. As part of the maintenance regime, we encourage increased biodiversity and sustainable approaches. Working closely with our contacts at the site, we have introduced over 500 bulbs, wildflower gardens and feeding stations with positive outcomes.

Further to the maintenance, Wright Landscapes also complete a variety of hard landscaping works on the site including granite paving repairs, bike stand installations and sports pitch rejuvenation.

Wright Landscapes work has been industry recognised and the site has been awarded a Green Flag status since 2019.

We were delighted to be a part of the new Dianne Oxberry Trust rose garden as part of the year long campaign to raise awareness of ovarian cancer. Florida sunset roses were planted as part of the scheme, which were initially launched in memory of Dianne at the RHS Tatton show in 2019.
